The Vow

Had the sudden urge to wanna rewatch this movie.

The Vow.

I'm sure it can ;) .

There's just something captivating about this show.
The title attracts me emotionally.
The content attract me visually.
And when the lines in the movie catches my heart.
I just can't find a reason to reject watching it.

Perhaps it's because the show is based on a true story.
Usually when we're watching a romance story.
People will be aware before and after that what they're about to take into their knowledge is a fictional tale.
But The Vow is based on a true story and perhaps, that's what makes it different from the usual romance movie.

Even though not each and every part of the show is based on the true story.
The fact that a girl can completely forget about her husband, divorced him.
Then get back together with him again, that's amazing, touching and well.

But what makes this show appeal more to me is the way the man fought to make his wife fall in love with him again.
Despite her not remembering him, he didn't give up on her.
Even though he had to let her go to allow her a chance to pursue her own happiness, he had never forgot about her.

This contradicts what the opinions of girls have on guys.
That they take everything for granted.
That they have no emotions.
Because guys like the one in this story.
They're sentimental creatures too.

And to the guys who knows how to cherish their girls.
And take the effort to make sure they feel loved.
I respect you ;) .

It gives me faith that one day, I will experience a love like this.
I am not not implying anything.
Just saying, I hope I will get to experience a love like this.

A love where I can help the person I love love life.
A love where I can have the patience which love demands.
A love where both of us can speak when words are needed, and share the silence when words are not needed.
To agree, to disagree on major or minor things.
A love where I can live in someone's heart and call it home.

And someone will in return, tell me that he'll love me deeply, no matter what may become of me.
To accept me for who I am, the way I am.
Because to him, it's a once in a lifetime love he's experiencing.
And that deep down in both of our souls, we know that no matter what challenges bring us apart, we'll always find a way back to each other.

Whatever is meant to be, will be.
