人之出,性本善。性相近,习相远。

人在刚出生时,本性都是善良的,性情也很相近。 但随着各自生存环境的不同变化和影响,每个人的习性就会产生差异。”

Yesterday was fulfilling. Was supposed to meet Valerie and Jasmine at school. I didn't make it in the end, because my phone suddenly died. Darling accompanied me to the M1 headquarters at Paragon. In the end, someone came to us and asked us what was the help we required. I told him of my problem and he pressed the only two buttons on my phone for 10 seconds together and the phone was rebooted again. Amazing.

So we went to have lunch afterwards, at some shopping centre I cannot remember where. Dar then sent me to Clarke Quay, Liang Court because according to plan, I was supposed to meet Val and Jasmine there for Party World <3 !

We sang like crazy retards. I mean serious. I wish there was a camcorder to record down everything D; !

Jasmine sings awesomely ;) .

After our singing session, Val went home first while Jasmine and I walked around and then settled down at YaKun.
And, we talked. She told me two stories that inspires me alot. We were talking about how to deal with kids. Jasmine: There was once a rabbit and lion. Standing side by side. If the rabbit is crying, what will be the first thing that comes into your mind? Me: *thinking that of course is wanna find out the stories of both parties to be fair* Most people will think that the lion bullied the rabbit? Jasmine: Correct. Often, when two kids cry, adults will think that the one who is not crying is at fault. But that isn't fair, is it? The actual happening behind the story I told you was that. The rabbit bit the lion. But the rabbit cried because it was afraid that the lion will bite it back. So, the rabbit cried. The lion did not have any reaction because it wasn't at fault. It has its pride. Similarly, some kids might be the in a similar senario in which they are the ones who are at fault first but they tell otherwise. So to be fair, we must find out what happens before we starts to tell them off. Else, we might hurt the 'lion' badly. And the next time we wanna get close to the 'lion', 'lion' might reject us beyond the boundaries of his/her acceptance.

Quite true, ain't it? Many parents are so protective of their own kids. They often love their kids so much that they spoilt their own kids. Which results in why some teenagers nowadays are just living in their own world nowadays. The second story. Jasmine: In the past, hunters used to hunt for monkey by putting banana in this pear-shaped trap. Where the monkeys would put their hands in,and try taking the banana out and that's when the hunter will come and trap them. On this day, a monkey saw the banana in the trap. It wanted the banana, unknowing it was a bait in the trap. In the end, the hunter came, trapped it, and killed it. Sad, wasn't it? If the monkey was able to let the banana go, it would have been able to escape when it saw the hunter. Me: I know this concept. If people was able to let go of things, perhaps they won't get themselves into so much pain and trouble. Jasmine: That's right.
Actually, the story above may have been told alot of times, in different versions but simple stories like that can actually make you realize that simplicity is actually the key to happiness in life.

It was the way she tell the stories. I was so. Engaged in those stories. Jasmine is really a nice girl <3 !

And from today on wards, I am gonna use 《三字经》's lines as my blog titles. I wanna make myself learn it. As well as promote the Chinese tradition and values to whoever visiti this blog. Coincidentally, the title matches the content of what I wanna say aout yesterday ;) . Like Jasmine said, no kid is unable to be taught. And I agreed, saying, no one is born bad. Like the title today, the explanation is. Everyone is kind, since birth. Changes occur because of the environment one lives in. Good and bad habits that develop varies, depending on the environment one grows up in.

Honestly, I love this two sentences ;) . Isn't it sad how everyone grew up? From a naive innocent kid. To a bitch / jerk who is selfish and inhumane?
